Visual identity for the architectural duo Zuzana and Jan Kurz was from the first moment emerging in the process of getting know each other. This exceptional couple emphasizes personal approach and they always searching for unusual and unconventional solutions.
We designed the logo, which historicizing atmosphere refers to the tradition and craftsmanship. Its basic principle is a playful composition of simple geometric shapes. The contrast of hard and soft, cubical and organic, masculine and feminine together creates balance. Part of the K-letter reminds a tiny leaves, it softens the logo and symbolically refers to the nature. Used materials come from recycled leather and we completed them with copper embossing.
